  1. I bought this: Emotiva Audio ERC-1 Reference Compact Disc Player I've been curious about their gear and figured with the 30 day return policy, I would give it a try.
  2. Thanks. I have a guy locally that has done it before. Definitely let me know when the version after 3.0 is released is available.
  3. One 16 gb 3GS ordered. I think I will wait until I am eligible for an upgrade on 7/12 rather than use the eligibility from one of my other lines.
  4. Did you reserve yours online?
  5. I think I may order one through Apple now so I don't have to worry about lines at stores.
  6. I guess I could give it a try but no matter how easy people tell me this stuff is, it never is quite that easy for me. An example is Dom telling me how easy it would be to jailbreak my Blackjack II and use it for tethering. After giving it a try, I ended up having him come over to do it for me.
  7. Here is my plan. F to ATT and there no tethering yet. I take my daughters iphone 3g with the broken glass (still works) which I am replacing and jailbreak it. Then I use PDAnet to tether for a one time $30 fee. All I have to do is take the sim card from my phone and put it in her phone when I want to tether. The program runs in the background so I can still use her phone while tethering. While I am sure it is not too difficult to jailbreak an iphone, is there anyone out there that would be willing to do it for me. One of my associates husbands may be able to do it but just in case, I would like to have a back up.
  8. They made a big deal about the longer battery life and that it would last the average person something like 4 or 5 years. I think I would rather have the ability to change the battery and stick with the battery life I have on my 13" MB. I do like the return of FW (didn't realize that until your post). I also like the addition of the SD card slot. We are adding at least one and possibly two attorney's which means I need to buy at least one and possibly two new notebooks. I think the battery would be the only thing holding me back. It has a faster processor, 4 gb or ram and a 250 gb hard driver for $1500. I love my MB but could pass it down to an associate. I have a few months to think about it.
  9. Thanks. He must have gotten the smarts from my wife.
  10. Tethering for an additional $50 may be more than I am willing to pay for tethering unless the phone plans drop a bit in price to offset it. My daughter is getting my 16gb 3G to replace her 8gb with broken glass. My son gets a 16gb 3GS for making National Honor Society, Science Honor Society and Headmaster's Honor Roll. I will get a 32gb 3GS because I am a geek and I can use the immediate upgrade on my mom's phone, which is part of my plan or wait for 7/12 to upgrade on my line.
  11. I'm eligible 7/12/09. I have two other lines that are eligible now so I'm good to go at anytime.
  12. It's not listed above but tethering is available, except on AT&T. That was the one feature I was hoping for. I'm guessing it will be available at some point with an additional charge. I will probably pass my iphone down and pick the 32gb for the additional speed, better camera, video, etc.

Automatically handles exposure and white balance. Better low-light sensitivity as well. Also, auto-macro -- as close as 10cm away. 11:49 am Vastly more pictures on Flickr from iPhones than any other phone. Phil Schiller has retaken the stage.
  14. I had the same problem. Jorge responded that they would take care of it on Monday.
  15. I would love to get the amp as well but I need to slow down and I don't need it. I bought the DAC so I would not lose out on the 15% off.
  16. Headroom Ultra DAC
  17. It's because they are pretty.
  18. Those a beautiful. Nice work guys.
  19. I called JH Audio this afternoon and officially ordered them. They are hoping for the drivers to arrive towards the end of next week. Production should start after that. Payment is not made until they are done and ready to ship.
  20. There is no pouting on HC.
  21. Get it up on YouTube so we can all hear it.
  22. That noise is no different than what I hear and sounds like metal to metal contact and sounds normal to me.
  23. I don't believe I have a problem with my pair. When I hold the earcups and move them back and forth, at the end of there is a bit of a clang, only in one direction. I don't know if this is what the others is hearing but it sounds normal to me. Like metal contacting with metal.
  24. Hey newbie. All I can say is, it's about time.
