Dinny, great news on the school front. I hope it works out. Private school is a huge commitment. Al, sorry to hear about the jumper and Fitz, bummer about the shooting. Today, I'm just chilling. Hopefully listening to music and catching up on Nikita and Stargate Universe.

They are supposed to secure the driver. I'm just tired of dealing with them.

All you need to do is move the earpiece around and you can hear it move. Also, mine are clear so you can see it move. Your idea of having them keep them and re-cast for the buyer is a good one but I am sure they would never agree to it.

I don't know any that would take on such a small matter.

My JH13's are being repaired. I was told that there was no need to re-case them which seems odd since there is a loose driver in the left earpiece. I would assume they would have to open that one up in order to make the repair. I am getting tired of dealing with them. I send emails and it's as if they see different words on the page from what I wrote. The question is whether I sell them when they return or just figure I will have to send them back every 6 months or so for repair.

No hardware updates until Lion is released in July.

I understand. I was pointing out that was not what you said earlier. To me is was a distinction without meaning. My comment before we got to this point was not to address why Dan wasn't attending, which was not all that important to me when I posted earlier. I was making a general comment not directed to anyone in particular after reading all the negative comments that preceded my post.

I have to say, in hindsight, I would have preferred CanJam not be used. Gene came up with the term and I was the first one to use it for an event. My big problem with Jude is that he takes and takes and really gives nothing back. Having said that there is little we can do to change that at this point. It has been used for the past 3 years at RMAF. I know next to nothing about trademark law so I have no idea what could be done or should be done. In the end, whether it's CanJam Chicago or CanJam at RMAF it's just an event for us to attend. If more members showed up and either brought gear or just came to check out the gear, it would be no different than other CanJams except for all the speaker rigs that are available to check out. I do not get the push back for this event. I hope to be there again this year because last year I had a great time, was able to hang out with friends and check out all the great gear. If you are not coming because the timing is bad, understood. If you are not coming because of the name used, I'm not sure what to say.

Brent, since you took such an interest in my decision to consider the JH3A, I wanted to let you know that upon further reflection, I will likely just have them re-case my 13's and not add the 3A. I don't think I would get much use out of it. If I am home and listening to music, I use my speakers. Vicki, I hope you can locate the file you need. The chances of JHA having it or slim and none.

Despite my prior issues I think I am jumping on this bandwagon. I'm looking forward to hear some more impressions and if they are close to JP's impressions then I am in.

You would think that without a regular CJ that those who would normally travel for one don't just go to CJ RMAF. The headphone stuff doesn't mean that much to me but for those that do care, they have the option to hang in the CJ room and check out all the great speaker rigs. What helps is having an active local group to rally the troops to bring their rigs.
