Just got this Zixen DSR 500 plus cash as part of a trade for the Doxa. It's about as big and heavy as the Doxa. I will give it a week or so to see of it's a keeper:

I hadn't considered the battery life issue moving to the i7. I need the computer to be able to run Parallels, which requires at least a 1.6GHZ processor so I'm thinking I need to give up a little battery life to ensure that Parallels will work well.

I'm a business customer at my local Apple Store. They told me to call later this afternoon as they were expecting a shipment. Once I tell them what I want they will put it aside for me so I won't have to wait in any lines, should that be an issue. I think I am going with the 11" with the 1.8 i7 and the 256 gb of ram. I'm pretty sure this will replace my office computer, which I will sell. Anyone know what I can get for a 13" MBP (it's called a MB but was the first aluminum MB that was available, without FW)? It's 2.4GHz Core Duo, 4GB ram and a 250GB drive. It's in pretty decent shape, almost 3 years old with about 3 months of Apple Care left. I just got a new battery and power adapter.

The Apple Store is down, this should be the day.

I had the 12L but they were way too large for my desk. I hope to eventually scuba off the Kayak but this is new to us so I'm going wait a bit before giving that a try. We have a lot of local areas that are part of parks which lead out to the intercoastal. I think tomorrow Will either be at Oleta Park or West Lake Park.

I got the Helson in a pretty good trade for me so I figured I would give it a try. I like it a lot so far but sure it's a keeper yet, not that anything is really ever a keeper with me.

It does. I just received my Gary Steven custom carbon look leather strap in anticipation. The watch will come with the strap seen in the pic but I wanted something that was thicker at the pins to fill in the gap between the end of the strap and the case. Mitch at O7 says they should be available next Thursday so I hope to pick it up before leaving for vacation. If I could only get Jeff to buy my Doxa.

I leave for vacation a week from tomorrow so I'm hoping that I will have time to grab one, if available to take on the trip.

Need a bag recommendation for a week long vacation. I have the Aeronaut, which is perfect for a weekend. I was thinking of an Oxx Flying Boxcar but that is smaller than the Aeronaut (2700 v. 2400). I am assuming that if I bought another Aeronaut or the Boxcar, that I could not carry both on a plane so I am stuck with either something too big to carry on or something bigger than either the A'naut or Boxcar that I can bring on a plane. Knowing Gail, she will probably be checking a bag anyway so I may consider an Oxx Sherpa Jr. I guess a Beanos is a possibility as well but I assume that is took big for an overhead. Any ideas?

So I was supposed to sell a watch (O7 LM-3V2) and ended up trading it in a good deal for a Helson Skin Diver plus cash. This is another winner imo. Now I need to sell something since I am up to six. I'm thinking Doxa. Jeff, if you are interested, let me know.

Thanks. It did taste good but my briskets are still a work in progress. They are drier than I would like it to be, despite spray with apple juice every 30 minutes. Gene, I want to replace my grill. It's getting old and I do not want to put any more money into it. I have a grill, Steel Keg (like BGE) and a smoker.

Nice vintage Omega. Jeff, the fit and finish of the MKII watches are as good as anything out there. I really like these watches.
