Nice Keg! I have the older model. Did you use charcoal or lump? The only time I have any sparks flying is when using my torch to light cheaper lump coal. Once it's lit, no more sparks. If I use Green Egg lump or other higher quality lump, then the sparks are minimal when firing it up. Once it's going, I get smoke coming out the top and no sparks.

The watches are both pretty close in terms of accuracy. Automatics are always going to need to have the time adjusted every so often. It's not an issue for me as it's rare that I wear the same watch two days in a row so they tend to need adjustment when I put them on in the morning. I only have one watch winder. One day I will get one of those Orbita's like Jeff has. Todays wrist shot: I received this watch in a trade a while back and forgot about it. If anyone wants it, $100 shipped conus. Dan is correct. The Stowa is the one with the brown leather. Al, a man of your status should get the IWC. The Stowa is for us country lawyers. The Stowa will stay and Damasko will likely go.

I probably wouldn't take it in the pool either.

Thanks guys. The Stowa is the classic flieger and has crazy good lume. Close to an Omega P.O. which has some of the best lume out there. I may hold onto both for a while and see which grows on me. I've been looking for the Stowa for a while. Due to a lack of movements Stowa will not ship any until late August. They rarely come up used, in particular with no logo/no date. The Damasko has one of the best cases out there but is not nearly as difficult to find used or new. I also love the blued hands and display back on the Stowa.
