Thanks. I bought it with the bracelet, which retails for 2/3 of what I paid for the watch, strap and bracelet. From what I've read, there cases are supposed to be on par with Panarai, which is out of my reach at the moment.

That is a long slow cook. How big of a brisket can you fit in the Sous Vide?

Sounds good. Post some pics of the finished product. I know zero about this Sous Vide thing.

I like bracelets but I think I prefer nato, zulu and straps on most watches. My arms are not crappy hairy, which is a class of hairy all it's own but I do have hair on my arms and I haven't had any issues with any bracelets.

I was surprised at the quality of the Seiko. The only Seikos I owned were battery models a long time ago. The GS are nice but they are in Omega/Rolex territory so not sure if I would buy the GS over the others. The Sumo is one of the more comfortable watches I've owned. My watches are starting to lean towards dive watches these days. Hopefully, I will not have a problem with the Laguna. All the reviews seem to be positive. I paid a guy last week for a Bluering and a day after he was supposed to ship he refunded me my money, which took a week to get back into my PP account. I really want to see what the fuss is with that watch.

^^^ Nice watches! My first Seiko diver just arrived: I also have a Halios Laguna and a Deep Blue DayNight Ops T100 Tritium on the way in. My Helson Skindiver is on the way out and my Zixen may follow, not sure yet.

The finished product. It was real good. The bacon helps keep in the moisture and of course adds to the taste.

Dusty, sorry to hear about your mom. Fitz, definitely a bad night. My first job of the day was to pressure clean the patio out back and the walkway in the front. Next up is hang with Jp for a bit, make something for lunch, make a blueberry pie and come up with something to make for dinner.

I wish we had a decent farmers market nearby. Nice haul Jeff. Reks, nice ring and congrats again! I paid for a Halios Bluering, the buyer decides he doesn't want to sell more than a day later when he should have already shipped. He refunds through pp on Wed. and I will not get the money back until Monday. What an asshole. My next move was to buy a Seiko Sumo.
