iFi NANO iDSD - $190 battery powered DSD DAC

Featured Replies

These guys have flooded the market the past year or so, this device is interesting - combines portable dac/amp/spdif converter.  Seems like it would be a compromise in some places - kinda tempted to snag one just to try out for the usb/spdif component.

Of course, it's also an alternative to the Geek Out  ;D

AMR has Thorsten Loesch in the fold, he is quite the lunatic (in a good way IMO).  I used to like his Thunderstone Audio email list/group.....

Yeah I would trade my un-cancellable Geek Out straight away for one any day of the week... maybe I can find some takers at the world's greatest headfone site.

shouldn't be a problem at herd-fi

I would be wary of the way they are throwing around the TCXO term

Looks nice.  Price is silly low.  I need to find an Android player.......

There is no DSD player for Android...Only the Onkyo player for iOS, but I'm still probably going to pick up a Resonessence Labs Herus after demo-ing it hopefully this weekend...

That's what I thought I saw.  In spite of all the iFi mention of Android.  Meh.  I will continue to look.
