I need to centralize mah music.  Need DSd and higHRES comatability.  What is the current shortlist?  Plex?  Airplay? 

Preferences for linux compatible, and/or FireStick/Android app compatible.

Unraid server.

I use Plex for movies but it doesn't do DSD.

LMS with squeezelite? You can pick your distro with that. You can also install vortexbox which will have it all configured for you.

And if you have LMS/slim/squeezeserver + iPeng you can can now control it with your Apple Watch

Or just install multiple (software) servers, so you have multiple views onto the same data/content - and use whichever is best for your particular use case ...
