Transformers have real capacitance and inductance, semiconductors have far higher speed as a result than that when properly driven. Semiconductors have neglible inductance in this situation, maybe yes if you're talking about GHz range... I want to see that transformer reach GHz

Curious if anyone has made progress on this.

It kinda sucks to be stuck with the srm-d10 as pretty much the only option available out there.

I did make one but the thick film SMD resistors drifted with temperature so it made it unstable. Maybe with MELF resistors it'll be better.

Making such an amplifier isn't a problem. The problem is making it commercially available for sale. The market is too small to be profitable.

Making a bad amplifier is not a problem making a good one is hard...
