Is this something normal that happens to the headband? It doesn't seem to wipe off, but I'm not wiping that hard because I don't want to rip the material.

hey, my head is clean! i rinse it at least once every week or two and get in a good scrub with dish soap for holidays. plus on friday nights i coat it with only the finest vegetable oils.

wow, my brain must have died while writing that post. I knew that. If its just salt stains, it should come off pretty easily off pleather (which what it looks like) with a damp cloth.

Yep, but use a drop of a very mild soap as well and it should be fine.

thanks all, it scrubbed right off with a damp cloth. now why the hell would that only show up on my K340? plus its not like I pour sweat while being sedentary listening to headphones.

yeh i forgot its hot as hell son, damn. plus when i lose power like three times a week i have to ride a bike to work the generator and listen to my cans, which splains teh swet.

Well, can't say much actual sweating went on, nor baby making practice. We were eleven years old! This was back in 1970, when Home Ec was still geared toward grooming girls to be housewives. We learned to cook and sew and take stains out of clothes, not that I showed talent in any of those areas. I actually liked metal shop, which they also had in middle school in those days, but the powers that be pulled me out of that class so I can finally impart the widsom learned here in this thread. I knew there had to be some reason. \

My home ec class years ago, surprisingly, had more guise in the class than gurrels. Then again late 90's... Learned absolutely nothing in there, but met my bff there ^0^
