tom_hankins
I got my wife the Canon digital Rebel XTi and a Quantaray 70/300 lens for her birthday about a month ago. She needs a case and nothing at Wolfs is cutting it. Any leads to where I can find a nice one?

n_maher
www.lowepro.com - available through many online vendors. I've been using their bags for a while and have no complaints.
JBLoudG20
I keep my XTw/E3 grip, a sigma 70-300, sigma 24-70, a few filters, charger, etc. in a Kata sling bag. I bought it specifically because I like to walk around with my gear (hiking, etc) and this ix a convienant way to carry, and get at my camera quickly. tom_hankins
Thanks for the help everybody. Ended up getting one from a place called "Adorama" Its one of there in house made cases. Also picked up A weird looking little mini tripod called the GorillaPod. That looks like it for the socking stuffers.
tiberian
jay would you recommend the sigma 24-70? i am using the tamron 28-75 right now but i could use a few more MMs on the wide angle side. i can't afford the canon 24-70 so i am thinking about trading my tamron for a sigma... laxx
Why not go for the Tamron 17-50 then?
grawk
Check out fredmiranda.com and dpreview.com for good advice on camera stuff from a much larger community of users Like headphones, there's a really deep rabbit hole for camera gear, so you should look for advice as to where the sweet spots are. For zooms, I prefer tamron over sigma, generally speaking, but every mfg has their lenses that are awesome.
