looks nice to me, buy it and tell us how it is :)

In a week I'll have 3 sources, 2 amps, way too many headphones, and I want to get a laptop as well. -> No more buying stuff until I pick the winners and sell off the rest. I think someone(s) with the E-MU 0404 USB should buy it and tell us how it is. O0

Someone ALSO got lazy with the rest of it :-\. Pretty modules and a sprinkling of Wimas won't save this one from mediocrity.

How mediocre is it, with the 49,000 yen price tag in mind?

man they sure squeezed a lot into a small area

what's more surprising is the number of through hole components that they got in there

Wow, that thing looks like it's on roids.

looks really nice, if i had the cash, i'd take the bite, but sadly, i have no dough

Not keen on it's case, It looks much better nekkid. ;D

why don't you give us a step by step on the circuit, then?

He's basing his opinion purely on the DAC

If you are talking about the main DAC chip, this thing uses the PCM1792 (TI's flagship along with the PCM1794).
