July 18, 200817 yr The trick is they're almost never put up for sale. I'd buy a set for $30 just ot hear them tho, so I could finally have heard a grado lower in the lineup than the 225.
August 10, 200817 yr I'm still looking for a $30 pair of Grados. The only ones I've seen are in need of repair.

August 11, 200817 yr I actually like the SR-60 more than the SR-225 (with flats or bowls). The SR-225 are just too bright with an upper midrange glare, wheras the SR-60 is the opposite; it rolls off the treble fairly early so it's a lot more comfortable to listen to over long periods. I had the SR-225 twice, and I could never use them for more than an hour at a time even at low volumes.
August 11, 200817 yr Maher, if you ever decide that you don't line the flat pad then I'd buy them off of you. Just send me a PM or email.
