Yup, that is my understanding too, no different "runs"; the one ESW10jpn that I owned in the past was sweeeeeeet. Reminded me of the W11jpn a little.

If we were talking about the W10vtg... eh... now that has some slight variation SQ wise.

Be careful if you're planning to buy an ESW10jpn though, the fucking fakes have started to show up. I saw a thread on HF the other day saying that the pirates have started selling fake ESW10jpn and they were quite good copies too.

At my last mini-meet, we were able to A-B both the ESW9 and ESW10JPN side by side out of the two headphone jacks from a Total Bithead . . . abd the ESW10JPN won hands down - much fuller, deeper bass and motre impact.

Really? A $500 headphone sounds better than a $250 headphone from the same series and same vendor? Had anyone suggested anything else?
