I bought a NOS dac (audiosector/audio zone) and love the sound and am wondering about these (audial see below) or other higher end NOS dac's. I know the arguments against these (noisy, no resolution etc) not interested in a debate. Any help with these dacs would be appreciated.

Pedja Rogic (Audial) knows his shit. I'm building an earlier version of his TDA1541a NOS DAC (even though I don't believe in NOS ). This DAC was what Strohmie used in his DIY CD player also.

huh? what about just using USB to convert to i2s then into the NOS DAC? This is exactly what I do.

Never mind -- I misread NOS as New Old Stock, not Non Over Sampling. I got it now, though.
