So...maybe it’s all one guy, like Gorillaz.  

This might be their best album yet. It's a heavy, melodic beast, every song a history lesson about WWI. Loving it.

I really want to see these guys someday. The new album is crazy good.

 

I found out recently I work with a guy who’s played in various different bands (pop, country, etc.) and owned the studio where Pentagram recorded their first album, Relentless.

This album is a fantastic piece of art. Heavy gothic folk rock/metal. Get on it.

• Chrch - Light Will Consume Us All
• Vanum - Ageless Fire
• Vukari - Aevum
• Blood Incantation - Hidden History of the Human Race

general theme of the first four is a great sense of atmosphere. i'd find it hard to categorize any of them in a specific subgenre (well i guess mizmor and chrch are pretty solidly doom). 

blood incantation is just incredible. best pure death metal going right now.

New discovery for me, and I'm hooked. The whole album is great, and this is one of the best songs.
