Happy belated birthday!

What about the twists ties or other metal object connected to the charger while its plugged in? Also, my watch turned off yesterday and I had to do a hard reset for it to come back. Do you think this could be a factor? Some people report that there watch is not warm in the morning.

Not sure if there is an Apple Watch thread so I'll post here. I've noticed that when I take the Apple Watch off the charger in the morning that the back is warm to the touch (and is at 100% battery life). It does quickly cool down. This surprises me since I would assume that it would stop charging once it is full so why would it still be warm? I am concerned that the watch is overcharging the li-ion battery and it is going to lead to damage to the battery or battery explosion. Does anyone else have an Apple Watch and is theirs like this? Also, I just noticed that the magnetic charger (which sits on my desk), was plugged in and a couple of twist ties had attached to it (the watch was not attached at the time). Do you think this could mess up the charger? Something like this could have happened before too.

Ok, so the security upgrades are significant... Can I still go back to 9.3.2 if I have problems with 9.3.3?

Anyone install 9.3.3 yet on their phone? Worth doing? My new one is running fine on 9.3.2. I know there are some security upgrades but how important are they?

I've seen a number of bulging batteries with the Moto X but not sure if they mean the pure edition or the original. Do you know anything about this? Other than that, it seems like a good deal.

The problem is that I probably won't buy today since I will need to get a hold of her and check to see if there are reports of bulging batteries or other defects. WIth the non-sale price, is it still worth getting?

Brent and others: What other Android phones are good? They are on Cricket (they run on AT&Ts GSM network) so I don't think she can get the 199 Nexus 5X. Also, there seems to be a lot of cases where the Nexus 6 batteries swelled up so I am not sure I am happy buying a current Nexus phone. Looking online, T-mobile claims to have better coverage than Sprint. If they don't, there is really no reason for me to switch. Anyone have T-mobile right now and have any coverage problems?

Hmm, lots of unhappy Verizon people. My friend who uses T-mobile is trying to convince me to use T-mobile because he can use data everywhere in the world for free. That seems pretty useful since I travel a couple of times per year to Europe/Canada. Does anyone else have t-mobile and good coverage. I am tired of Sprint's poor coverage which is why I am looking to switch.

Oh. Do you think my niece will not be able to use my sprint iphone 5s on her plan. It is not verizon - use some GSM sims. I'll have to find out the name. So for my new phone, if I want to get a SE, I need to switch to verizon at the same time. Is there a way that I can open a new verizon account and port my number at the Apple store?

OK. I tried ordering a Verizon iphone from the Apple store and it won't let me get it without a Verizon phone plan already. Right now I am on sprint and want to switch to verizon for better/faster coverage. It seems I cannot get an SE without SIM, use it on sprint and then switch to verizon with it. Not sure how to go about doing this without buying going to the Verizon store and getting an iphone from them. To do this, I'd have to get an 6s or 6s plus. Also, now I am worried that my old iphone 5s won't work on my niece's plan since she is not on sprint.

If I buy a "Verizon iphone" from the Apple store, will it be unlocked to use with other carriers if I switch out the sim or will it be locked to Verizon? I will be paying full price. I want to switch to Verizon but don't have a sim card. I want to port my number to Verizon.

In addition to getting a new phone, I am thinking of switching from Sprint to Verizon. I just checked to see if my current iphone 5s will work with Verizon and it says "The phone associated with the Device ID you entered is not compatible with the Verizon Wireless network." Do you think this means that Sprint lied to me and that my phone isn't actually unlocked? (I'm planning to give it to my niece to use on a different carrier.) Also, what would be the easiest way to port my number from Sprint to Verizon? Do I have to go to a store. I plan to "bring my own device" but need to get a Verizon sim. If I buy a Verizon iphone full price from Apple, will I be able to use it on another carrier in the future if I want?
