It's definitely a climb to try at least once, it's got a nice road surface and incline that's not too killer.

Went for a long ride with a few climbs today. Pretty fun, though hr monitor died on me about halfway thru, so I took it easy to make sure I didn't burn myself out. I tend to be a little overeager with climbs...

And now what did you do TODAY?
Congrats Dusty! Glad to hear it worked out for you As for me, I did the bike to work thing this morning and found a route that worked fairly well. I think I'm going to make it my standard commute.

Discussions of headphone design, and their designers
Any wood that would be flexible enough for comfort in that application would definitely not last long.

AMB’s γ3 high-resolution DAC
The γ2 was the double width γ1 with the second pcb that interfaced into it I'm definitely going to follow the development of the 3.

Looking over the non mountain rides, I typically max out at 170-180 and average 140-150. My actual max HR is 190.

Some of the Garmin's are discounted, but you can't use the coupon on any items "with gps technology". It would've been too nice to use that coupon on the new Edge 1000.

Yup, the Niner. I've been looking at REI's selection too because of the sale. Kinda impressed your bag fit all that and the gloves!

Being a Garmin, I'd wait until a couple of firmware updates have been released. Couple of folks have already picked it up and it sounds like some folks are already having issues, so I suspect it'll be similar to every other Garmin product release. The features do look nice but I'll need to get new Garmin mounts since it's longer than the 800. My commute is going to be 9-10 miles each way, so I'm trying to decide what size pannier I should get that'll hold my lunch and a set of clothes.

Looks like a sweet commuter bike! Which pannier is that?

It would be easier with the previous generation of di2, with the newer versions you'd need to figure out the protocol. Bit more of a challenge but a sequential shifter would be nifty

Carbon belt drive with alfine di2 sounds like a great setup

I'd be interested but between the trainerroad challenge and a planned ride around the Catoctin I don't think I'll be able to fit it in.

And now what did you do TODAY?
