  1. Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone! Hope you folks had a great day too!
  2. Implausible for a number of reasons, but since its already reached minimum its already a successful scam. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  3. It's definitely a climb to try at least once, it's got a nice road surface and incline that's not too killer.
  4. Went for a long ride with a few climbs today. Pretty fun, though hr monitor died on me about halfway thru, so I took it easy to make sure I didn't burn myself out. I tend to be a little overeager with climbs...
  5. Would love to go, but got a planned ride on Sunday Next time!
  6. Congrats Dusty! Glad to hear it worked out for you As for me, I did the bike to work thing this morning and found a route that worked fairly well. I think I'm going to make it my standard commute.
  7. Any wood that would be flexible enough for comfort in that application would definitely not last long.
  8. The γ2 was the double width γ1 with the second pcb that interfaced into it I'm definitely going to follow the development of the 3.
  9. Looking over the non mountain rides, I typically max out at 170-180 and average 140-150. My actual max HR is 190.
  10. True, but he does say OBO...not that the starting price is promising though
  11. Nate, weren't you looking for a garmin 800? http://forums.thepaceline.net/showthread.php?t=149114
  12. Yup, today or Monday would work for me, just let me know what you guys decide
  13. Some of the Garmin's are discounted, but you can't use the coupon on any items "with gps technology". It would've been too nice to use that coupon on the new Edge 1000.
  14. Yup, the Niner. I've been looking at REI's selection too because of the sale. Kinda impressed your bag fit all that and the gloves!
  15. Being a Garmin, I'd wait until a couple of firmware updates have been released. Couple of folks have already picked it up and it sounds like some folks are already having issues, so I suspect it'll be similar to every other Garmin product release. The features do look nice but I'll need to get new Garmin mounts since it's longer than the 800. My commute is going to be 9-10 miles each way, so I'm trying to decide what size pannier I should get that'll hold my lunch and a set of clothes.
  16. Looks like a sweet commuter bike! Which pannier is that?
  17. I'm still amazed that there's actually a payment plan option. FFS, it's a funding campaign!
  18. It would be easier with the previous generation of di2, with the newer versions you'd need to figure out the protocol. Bit more of a challenge but a sequential shifter would be nifty
  19. are they non-refundable? Looking on the kickstarter page it looks like the payment plan has the no refund note.
  20. Carbon belt drive with alfine di2 sounds like a great setup
  21. Has Light Harmonic actually delivered product to people? I think I've seen a few unboxing videos, but they seem to have been done by review sites.
  22. I'd be interested but between the trainerroad challenge and a planned ride around the Catoctin I don't think I'll be able to fit it in.
  23. Oh jeeze Brent, hope you get well soon.
  24. That's an impressively aero skewer to get 40-45 seconds
  25. Today was perfect weather for riding! Good to see you folks got out for a ride
