A pair of Under Armour Boxerjocks from the Sports Authority. The cashier was too busy yapping and asking me if these were comfy and shit like that; he forgot to take the sharp pin that held the security tag on the waistband:
Imagine if this thing poked me in the ass? (queue gay joke by Steve ) I can see Raffy vs. Sports Authority in court while being represented by Mike or Al!
Actually, I used a Porter Cable random orbital too. Used swirl remover first then polish to remove whatever the swirl remover puts on (light dullness/nano scratches). Then it's supposed to be a layer of liquid wax but I decided to go with 2 layers of paste wax instead.
It did a great job on my black car too as it took the haze off and put a nice shine to it but I still have most of the car left to work on. I'm getting a low stool and a foam exercise mat to help on Saturday.
Thanks for the suggestion Ric!
Raising my glass to better Vermouth indeed! Martini made me drive 30 miles to get Dolin Rouge....thank God they had Carpano Antica when I got there!
Caved in to all the Manhattan talk so I made a Handy Manhattan with Carpano Antica and Angostura Bitters.
I'm starting to warm up to this whole cocktail deal....any suggestion on my next cocktail venture? Has to be bourbon or rye based though as I am trying to thin my stash of those
Sazerac or Old Fashioned perhaps?
Got my car buffing/de-swirling kit today so I decided to test it out. Wash my whole car, clayed the hood and bumper only (as it was already late in the day) then did a 4-step buff - swirl removal, polish and then 2 layers of wax on the bumper and hood only. Sure did take the haze and a decent amount of the swirls off plus put a nice smooth finish on but boy am I sore!
To be continued on Saturday but I'm getting a stool of some sort to minimize bending over and squatting.
bought a bunch of things from Autogeek.net, a Porter Cable 7424 Dual Action Orbital, pads, compounds, etc for taking off the oxidation and swirls off my 06 Civic. Hopefully it will be nice out on Saturday as I plan to buff my car then.
I've been out of the PC gaming deal for almost a year but decided to take a plunge on this. So far, so good. I'm getting decent frame rates at 1920x1200 on my GTX 295 but it not maxed out. I'm ready to play more later after work though!
BTW, how do you display your FPS while playing?
