Found out I could roll my personal number over to my companies plan, which they did Friday. With that sorted out and knowing which carrier, went to order an iPhone 6s+ today on Apple.com. Last screen asks for phone number. Could not verify mine. Called Apple - new iPhones for business accounts will be available "in about three months" (though willing to sell me a 5s today!). Hinted going to AT&T may result differently. Drove over. "Your name isn't on the account." Couldn't see history/it being my line three business days ago. Can't sell "as an accessory", must be tied to an account even if just paying for in full/unlocked and moving SIM card over. Excitement of possible new phone is quickly diminishing. Grrrr. Back to iPhone 5 which won't hold a charge.
