I'm not sure 5x7 physical prints or a 1080p TV are 'typical' photo measurements at this point and with the editing software on the phone that capture resolution will equate to eventual output resolution, but if you wanted to downsample your photos there are several photo apps that allow you to set input/output resolutions. That said I'd capture high and just keep less photos on the device. Also keep in mind the iCloud storage jump that just occurred. And check out this.

Okay you asked for it. Here's a little from Saturday and Sunday. We're a pretty gimpy group, so didn't stray far. For the hell of it shot everything 21:9 (with the Sigma dp2 quattro). Compressed, though still a bit large on the bandwidth front. My apologies.

Bear attack training. Always get black bears and grizzlies confused though. Which are you suppose to play dead and which protected in a glass box? Let us know. We're a bit on the whim of other family (Mel's parents 50th Anniversary trip), but later in the week a play date and getting away from family, may be a double-bonus.

Interesting the mini 3's 16/64/128 storage decreased to 4's 16/32. Also surprised 3D Touch didn't make it to the iPad Pro.

Sad the AppleTV lost the toslink output (especially with greater Apple Music integration). Though the presentation wasn't super exciting, its timing hit right for needing a new iPhone, iPad, (both lost to previous job) and after waiting forever for the Apple TV revision. So my wallet is probably getting killed this time. Also looking forward to the watchOS update.
