For what it's worth, I have a Vaja case for my 5G iPod. Even after all this time (2+ years, IIRC) it's in good physical condition. I am a little disappointed with the durability of the cosmetic aspect, though. While I used my iPod a lot, I doubt I'd use it as much as people use their iPhones. And after about 6 months it started to always looks dirty. Even after cleaning it, it ends up looking grimey and dirty again very quickly. Mine is two-tone... Orange front and dark grey back, and while a lighter color like orange could be expected to look dirty fairly easy, even the grey doesn't look great anymore. Just something to keep in mind considering the price of entry.

I used to have a program, I think it was (aptly) titled DVD Audio Ripper. I ripped Opeth's Lamentations and The Dresden Dolls' Paradise Live DVDs with it. It worked pretty well, though IIRC the levels were a bit hot.

Number of the Beast has some of my favorite tracks played on Live After Death, but for studio efforts it's definitely not my favorite studio album. If forced to choose, I think I'd have to go with Piece of Mind just over Powerslave, with Seventh Son... a very close third, primarily on the strength of it as a concept album, and it being my first Maiden album I bought after Live After Death. Number of the Beast comes in right behind that. Congrats on getting the black triangle version, though!

The thing that amazes me about Watershed is how quickly the time passes when listening to it. Even in Still Life, Blackwater Park, Deliverance and especially Ghost Reveries, I become very aware that large amounts of time is passing, and I get the felling that things are starting to drag. This is their first album since My Arms Your Hearse that is over before I expect it and leaves me wanting more. Definitely a really great album.

There's one reason to watch Myth Busters, and it's not the two guys, nor is it the science... Well, the guys can be funny, and the science can be pretty fun, too...

Is there any meaning to whose names are italics & not? This appears to be a recent change.

I'd still love to mod one of my DA-500s and then do some comparisons between stock & modded. Knowing it's got the PCM1702, it seems like it would be worth the effort.

I've heard of them but never actually heard them... I received some promotional material about them when ordering from Metropolis Records before, but never checked them out. Worth looking into? Hey, what's that supposed to mean? Though I suppose it's better than Dan assuming I only listen to some stuff because of an attractive front woman. :D

A combination of a lack of funds and not really being excited about anything new has left me not having made any musical purchases in a while Time to continue to explore the ignored parts of my existing CD collection.

Registration for my car in Maine, as well as a Maine driver's license. I know I live in Maine, but I moved less than a mile from my old place in NH and am less than a half-mile from the state line. So it still seems strange to "officially" live in Maine.
