  1. I'm sure this will be all over the news today, but what a shame. Friggin' cancer sucks. RIP Beau Biden. http://6abc.com/756875/
  2. RIP Marques Haynes, 89, of Harlem Globetrotters fame... I still remember seeing him, along with Curly Neal and Meadowlark Lemon when I was a kid. They put on such a dazzling show in those days before basketball was all about dunking. http://www.nytimes.com/2015/05/23/sports/marques-haynes-harlem-globetrotters-star-dribbler-dies-at-89.html?smid=fb-nytimes&smtyp=cur&bicmp=AD&bicmlukp=WT.mc_id&bicmst=1409232722000&bicmet=1419773522000&_r=0
  3. Thanks for the ride, BB. You were a true difference maker. RIP.
  4. This. RIP, sweet lady.

  6. Happy birthday, Ryan!
  7. Or with the impression that he's being a dickhead.
  8. RIP, Percy. Saw him perform in Cayman on the Friday before Christmas a year and a half ago. I had blocked that time out of my Santa schedule to make sure I wouldn't book an event and have to miss it. Now I'm really glad that I took the opportunity when it was there. Funny though, because even dressed in "casual Santa" clothes in an all-adult crowd, my presence still created quite a stir.
  9. RIP Larry Lujack, legendary DJ and radio host in Chicago. I grew up listening to him on WLS and just thought he was the coolest cat ever. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/chi-larry-lujack-dead-20131218-story.html
  10. Who didn't love Roscoe? RIP, James Best, you were indeed the best. http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=roscoe+dukes+laugh+video&FORM=VIRE1#view=detail&mid=B88BCD1BB360DA2A79DDB88BCD1BB360DA2A79DD
  11. Apologies if I've posted this before, but it makes me giggle...
  12. ^ This guy posting above is legit. He's my neighbor and a good friend. I didn't know Bob Soto myself, but he was definitely a legendary figure in the diving industry. So I watched college basketball instead...
  13. Some lesser known facts about March Madness... http://www.theonion.com/articles/dick-vitale-more-sexual-during-march-madness-wife,2686/?utm_source=Facebook&utm_medium=SocialMarketing&utm_campaign=LinkPreview:NA:InFocus
  14. Dancing in heaven indeed. Sadly, he lost both legs to diabetes. Also, interesting that he was stage hand who was "discovered" dancing alone one day so they just made him part of the shtick. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/gong-show-gene-gene-dancing-machine-dies-82-article-1.2149430
  15. Happy birthday, Fitz!
  16. Happy birthday, Nate!
  17. Happy birthday, Craig!
  18. RIP Minnie Minoso, another pioneer in terms of race relations in professional sports. http://www.wsj.com/articles/minnie-minoso-mlbs-first-black-latino-star-dies-1425232870 My dad, who grew up watching him play and was a huge White Sox fan for his entire life, just thought the world of him and always felt that he should have made the Hall of Fame. They had their chance again this year (via the veterans committee) and yet again blew it. Now that he's dead, I'm sure the schmucks will finally elect him in like they did several years ago with Ron Santo.
  19. ...and a kitchen table when eating Mexican or Chinese food.
  20. Happy birthday, Naaman!
