Yes, definite win. Me=Bell's Two Hearted Ale, because it brought a Bruins W in game 6, and i'm sticking with what works for game 7 tonight.

All were raw, raffy, then exported to jpeg from LR3 with no processing other than straightening and some light cropping as needed. Dialed back exposure on some of them, and that saturates the colors.

It should be a great game 7 tonight. Gonna be fun to watch. If the Bruins can shut down the Canucks 1st line and hassle Luongo in the crease, they should pull off the away victory.

Since many seemed interested in the Fuji X100 recently posted, here is an update. I love this camera. For me, it is Goldilocks - just right. I've tried many small cameras from p&s (Canon S90/95) to bridge (Panasonic LX3, Canon G11) to Micro 4/3 (Panasonic GF1 and G1) to compact APS/C (Sony Nex 5). Each of those had something to recommend it, but were not the experience I was looking for. Of those, the Panasonic GF1 and G1, and the Sony Nex 5 were the closest to what I was seeking. Then the Fuji x100 arrived, and after a couple of weeks use, it is clearly what I was looking for in a 2nd or take anywhere camera to the Nikon dslr rig. It's not perfect, but damn close for my needs. The physical controls for aperture, shutter, exposure, etc are terrific - the menu system, not so much, but nothing to break the deal, and menus can be improved via firmware. I don't mind the fixed lens at all. In fact, I applaud Fuji for going that way to maximize lens/sensor/size/weight in the camera. The 35mm equivalent focal length is perfect the uses this camera will be put to. Most of all, I love the viewfinder - bright, and usable. The hybrid part of superimposing stuff over the optical is no gimmick, and the ability to switch back and forth from optical to electronic instantly is genius. A useful, accurate viewfinder is what I missed most in all the other small cameras I've tried, so this was a major deal maker for me Finally, image quality is excellent, and high iso capability is terrific - perfectly usable to iso 1600, and when forced to use 3200 or even 6400 (gasp), the keeper rate is quite good. Indeed ... No one can accuse you of not being quick. OT here, but I just did a weekend in Key West for Becky's birthday with the Red Oxx C-Ruck as our main carry. It was brilliant, since we went and returned by boat, and I had to carry both days. So much easier with stuff on my back and waist than over a shoulder or on my arm. I'd say more, but even before there was a Las Vegas, there was "What Happens in KW, stays in KW"

Michigan in a bottle. Bell's makes great beer, and this (Two Hearted Ale) is just one of them. Can I get an Amen, brotha Al? Yes, that is the Gulf of Mexico and American flag in the background off the back porch. The Belmont Stakes was a slight upset, with Ruler On Ice, a 20-1 shot taking it all, and Stay Thirsty (my pick, of course) taking 2nd from 20-1 as well. As to the great beer stakes, the favorite, CCB Humidor IPA won handily over Ballast Sculpin IPA, but I came away with great admiration of Sculpin as a session beer I could love.

Colin ... it looks fucking raw to me ... Mongo like.

Raffy ... Yes, the cedar is strong in Humidor, but I like. Just had a wee dram of each, and the Sculpin has the most and best taste ever from a light bodied beer, but, for me, Hunidor wins. The woodiness makes me feel like I am in Arturo,s cigar bar in Ybor.

Nice Haj, and I hope others of the Boston faithful (Todd, Nate) have also been watching. I was there in '72 when Bobby did his thing, but it's been a long dry spell ever since. Got a good feeling after tonight, and I think the B's could do it in 6. Nice to see that punk, Burrows put in his place. (no offense, Vancouver fans, he's a great talent). and the Sedin twins put back in their little baby crib. All in all, a great W for the B's, but let's see what Fri night in V-town brings.
