Well a lot of music books, especially jazz, get really academic and boring. The book I was talking about is less of a book and more of a guide, if that makes any sense.

NICE You can never have enough Miles. I recommend the book "It's About That Time: Miles Davis On and Off the Record". It's really informative about all his sessions and albums, and a great buying guide.

Has anyone ever had to read this pile of shit? I had to write 10 "journal entries" on it today, it took me 4 hours just because the thing is so damn boring. I can't read more than 15 pages at once without having to stop. I want to jump in front of a moving truck after reading it. I asked my mom, who loves to read, if she had read it, and all she could say was "I hate that fucking book". And I found a 10 line runon sentence. Aren't there more important things to teach in school?

Those Lite dacs look like the exeption to me, they seem really well put together and designed (just speculation though, I've never used one). I think the dac38 is a better deal than the m24, which is essentially a dac50. If you want tubes the dac-62 or something would be better, but then you don't get the benefit of balanced.

If you feel like waiting a year...
