  1. that would depend on the user, of course. I can have a fully functional Fedora desktop in about half an hour, much faster than a fully functional XP install.
  2. I do realize that. I prefer command line.
  3. gogogogogo eet is ftw.
  4. you didnt run as root! you faked it!
  5. add remove app? boo. thats what apt-get is for
  6. My only experience with a Dell laptop was pretty bad. I will give Dell this: they had fantastic customer suervice. I'd send my laptop out on monday, I'd have it back wednesday morning 'fixed'. With that said: over the corse of the two years I owned it (I had a 2 year complete care on it) it blew: 5 ram modules, one DVD drive, and 4 motherboards. The last mother board was about a month after my warranty was out. They wanted 1500 to fix it. I bought a Lenovo, and *knock on wood* have not had a problem yet, that was not software related. (Windows decided to crap itself after the last update it performed.. good thing I use windows about 5% of the time). Of course this is probably an isolated incident, but because of it I'll never own another Dell. I also only purchase laptops, as desktops are just too easy to build.
  7. A bansai tree for my desk.
  8. Hes the one that called me an idio, figured I poke him a bit cause he seems to take it to heart, and its funny watching him cry. And I don't necessarily want that bassy sound all the time, but sometimes its fun to wake the dead.
  9. Thank you. Dusty Cunt is really the idiot. I don't listen to headphones when I want to hear bass, just like I don't listen to my car system when I want to hear smooth, detailed sound.
  10. I am. And I still stand by what I said.
  11. YES TOM! GO TEAM VTG!!!
  12. Hardly Now its shower time.
  13. I am touching boobie right now.
  14. Napolean Dynamite
  15. Too bad that album blows. Bass? The Crystal Method: Tweekend. Track 1 has the most bass I have ever heard. And I don't judge bass from headphones. 3000 watts into two 15" subs creates bass, not two 42mm drivers being fed 1/8 watt.
  16. You got it.
  17. I'm in the process of making an adapter that I can plug two 6AS7G's into the socket for my amp. Should be interesting. I hope its not too good, or I'll have to rebuild again
