The issue that was keeping people stuck on the mobile theme has now been fixed. Due to this I've also removed some of the changes I made that may have interfered with anyone trying to use the Infinite Dark theme. I'm still waiting on an updated version of the Infinite Dark theme so don't be surprised if everything doesn't work correctly with it.
That's due to some changes I made to help mitigate the issue of people getting stuck on the mobile version. Based on browser it should to force you to the default theme. Still waiting on an updated version of infinitedark anyways.
When you see the post controls greyed out - do you see the first button - the BBCode one? Make sure it's switched on. If that's not the issue could you take a screenshot of what you are seeing?
This has been confirmed as a bug - I've made some changes that *might* help. It's supposed to force the default theme if using desktop browsers but I'm not totally sure it's working. I'll go ahead and set your user back to the default theme.
Regarding Tapatalk - I just updated the server side app to the latest version. I don't see anything that mentions official support for this version of the forum software so let me know how it's working.
I upgraded the forum software tonight from version 3.3.4 to version 3.4.0. It's a pretty major upgrade with a lot of behind the scenes changes so please let me know if you see any issues.
EDIT: Also I've seen some reports of users not being able to post and getting a "post empty" message. Please try clearing your browser cache or doing a hard refresh (Control + F5 on Windows).
I actually finished building my new PC over the weekend - same motherboard as you. I have the two little fans for the board set to run in silent mode and I can't really hear them. Probably the part of the build I'm most happy with is the case - it's a Corsair Obsidian 550D. It's damn silent - using the same CPU cooler and same graphics cards as the old rig had and it's amazing how much quieter it is. I can actually walk in the room now and other than the power led I wouldn't know the PC was on.
I assume you'll be doing some OC'ing and ivy chips seem to run about 10 C higher than sandy bridge chips running at similar clock speeds. Still it's pretty easy to hit 4.5 ghz without much effort.
Hey everyone, I really do appreciate all the kinds words. Many of you mentioned wanting to donate, so I've gone ahead and added a little donate module to the sidebar on the right of the main forum page.
