Yeah, that's what I've gathered too, Al. It seems like including 3D is now the default in the mid-to-high end plasmas, so to get the latest and greatest in 2D panels, you need to get the newer 3D sets. Stupid TVs.

It's kind of weird being a non-videophile doing this research. Unlike audio gear, I now don't feel like I care about that last 10%. Or do I? If I don't care about spasm-inducing 3D maybe I should get the G25?

Thanks Ryan. I also am not a big fan of 3D and I'm afraid it would give my son spasms or something awful like that. But 2D pic quality is essential. At the same time, I'm probably not able to discern some of the qualities of the higher end stuff. Is the difference between the GT and the VT noticeable? Tapatalk.
