The JH13 still reminds me of the O2 mk1. Almost perfect amount of bass. If I had to fix just one thing, it would be just a touch more bass. But, as you note, stretch, one can only go so far. The O2 mk2 has more mid-bass. But I don't like it as much as the O2 mk1. Ah, I don't know what the fuuuuuu

Was it actually compromised or was it one of those things where data may have been accessed and they're forced to notify you? They should also be providing free credit monitoring for a year or so.

What a great marketing move to upstage UE the day after its own big announcement with an even bigger JHA announcement. However, I remember reading here all along that these were not meant for us (audio enthusiasts), but rather the live performers. What changed?

Jaime wrote back and said just send 'em on in. JHA is totally cool. Now, I could use your help describing what's happening. It feels like the right earpiece is ever so slightly too long. In other words, I feel a very very slight but noticeable pain when the right earpiece is in my ear. The location of the pain is hard to describe other than it feels like the tip of the IEM is tickling my ear drum. Does that make sense?

I'm pissed. The fit of the right earpiece is just off a tiny bit, but enough to be annoying. To make matters worse, I just read the fine print: the JHA 30-day fit guarantee starts running from the date of shipping, not receipt, which is not so great. I just shot them an email to see if I can send them back today to be considered within the timeframe.

I will say, however, that if Senn came out with a v2 or an 850 that bumped up the bass a bit, I would gladly give it a try.

It can be a pain in the ass to get around from BPC these days, though, due to the fact that the entire area is under construction (e.g., Goldman Sachs, WTC, new condos). I think the O2 mk1 is superior to the HD800. And I like the HD800 a lot. Am I not admitting something to myself?

It would seem that Logitech is trying to capitalize on the UE brand recognition that JH helped create. I'm sure there are legions of people who don't realize that JH was Ultimate Ears.

I would also rather give my money to JH Audio than to Logitech.
