Thanks. I also struggled with sending them in for the very reason you mentioned; there's the very real possibility that they'll screw them up. But I lived with my UE-10's not perfect fit and just didn't enjoy them because of it. Hopefully, this time will work out fine.

By writing a really annoying full page letter. Seriously. I tried to adequately convey the fact that I think the fit is very VERY close, but that the tiny problem is just annoying enough to make them uncomfortable. I described the location of the discomfort in detail (feels like the very end of the right earpiece is too deep in the canal). I then took a very thin piece of scotch tape, colored it with red sharpie, and placed the tape around what I perceive to be the problem area.

Lo-Fi perspectives are perfectly valid around these parts (I'm mid-fi on a good day). I also have the HF2 and the 600. And I think the HF2 also spends more time on my head. Maybe I kind of miss the HD650.

Have any of you sold your HF2s, and if so, do you regret doing so?

I have 'em now and will get some pics up soon(ish). Haven't had a chance to listen yet, but Mrs. Monkey digs the way they look. Impressions to come.

Ha! Really? That's unbelievable.

Stereophile reviewed the BDA-1 this month. It was basically a rave, but a very superficial review that focused more on how the reviewer set it up than sonic impressions. Atkinson found some problems with the measurements, but I'm not sure what sonic impact they might have because he, of course, was less than clear on that point.

Flats = win, except for HF2 where flats = BigLose. Send them to Joe, if for no other reason than to say that they got his blessing if and when you sell them.

Nate has a good point. And Greg, you also have a good plan. Just enjoy the sound for a bit. How do they fit?

Greg, sorry to see that. They look great other than the upside down part, which I wouldn't have noticed, but I guess one would notice in your ear. Regardless, talk to Jaime. It's worth it for something that you have to live with.
