I haven't loved the episodes so far, but I like the general set up. Also liked the recent Pappy product placement, though it looks like there might have been some IP issues because they referred to it as "Pippy" Van Winkle or some such nonsense.

I'm always having problems with that guy.

I do believe the help has been drinking my whiskey. It's almost gone.

Thanks, Al, and excellent advice. I figured I'd want someone to do it for my mom. I even advised the husband to take a picture of the thing she tripped on (a crowd control gate). But I get it. She's hurt, scared, embarrassed (shouldn't be), and just wants to get out of there. Hope she's ok, but her family seemed smart.

About a block away from the office on the way home saw a woman trip and fall and smash her face on the sidewalk. Blood everywhere. She was 60 and with her husband and I called an ambulance right away. Fortunately, she was conscious and alert. The woman's daughter showed up after about 10 minutes and they decided to get up and head home. Ambulance arrived about 3 minutes later. I told the EMTs what happened and they took off. The sound of her head hitting the sidewalk is not easy to forget.

I have a 2010 bottle and I'm a big fan.

The Eagle has landed in my stomach once again. Funny how that happens.

I've made my peace with not getting it...at least for tonight.

First, Terres Dorees (Jean-Paul Brun) 2009 Moulin-a-Vent. The 2009 Beaujolais are nothing to sneeze at. Visited with my mother-in-law, so I've moved on to Eagle Rare.
