I hear ya. The majority of the titles he's remastering are duds IMO. Tull Live in Montreux, Pet Sounds and the upcoming Doors albums are the only ones that interest me.

My SR-404 sounded like it had +10 dB (exaggeration ) from 3-6k KHz, so I understand if the O2 sounds off in comparison

I don't detect any upper mid suck out on the O2.
