  1. Reks, the powdered canary yellow diamond dust is crucial to fully realizing the audiophile grade USB cable's warm yet detailed sound. In tests the USB cable people found that the powdered canary yellow diamond dust added a touch of euphony simply not possible with other precious stones' dusts. The only negative side effect of the diamond dust is that the cable has 0% flexibility. It is shipped in a 1" circumference 15ft long tube. So X you need to have a straight shot from the back of your computer to the back of your DAC.

THERE IS NO XMAS!! FOR JOHN QUAYS!!
  4. Can I join your team? I can't make a lot of meetings though... \
  5. H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y X M A N I'm buying you a birthday present. Its a high performance USB Cable. Audiophile Grade A. Basically it is a USB cable with multifilament layer teflon coating, 99.9% pure cotton insulation with magnetic green ink dye to absorb all the digital laser signals, so that 99.97% of the USB audio signal reachs your external DAC (compare to other cables 99.85%). The result is a sound that has deeper bass with better grip, and a deeper, blacker background. Triple platinum 24kt gold coated conductor cable with .925 silver bits layered throughout to improve treble sonics. To finish off the cable is wrapped snugly in clear techflex, layered with a fine coat of powdered canary yellow diamond dust.
  6. This album is the pure heat, no doubt.
  7. nag champa!! Reks is a closet hippie! see you in the lot, wook wook.
  8. So do all the 900s share a similar sound signature? Whats it like? I like the look of the titanium.
  9. That looks snazzy!
  10. So I've got a little streak on my LCD monitor that I can't seem to get off. I think I was trying to wipe off a bit of dust and streaked grease on it or something. I've tried wiping it with a clean cotton shirt, but it doesn't seem to want to remove itself. What cleaning solution is a safe and effective way to clean my LCD. Thanks!
  11. Going to the opera tonight, if that counts as a concert. La Traviata.

    Browntracker

An incredibly eclectic, super-weird, drugged out duo who go by the names Gene & Dean Ween. They've done everything from lounge to hardcore to dance to country, sometimes all in the same album. They have a rabidly devoted cult following.
  13. I'm going to buy 20 L3K drivers and mount them in 20 W100 enclosures, then mount them on two vertical racks and power them like speakers.

http://www.browntracker.net/ Very cool, I didn't know this site existed. Torrent site specifically for Ween and Ween-related goodness, and no lossy files! With the new album and the discovery of this site, I think I'll be getting back into Ween.
  15. I'm pretty sure she also doesn't like the d5000. Maybe "hates" is a strong word, but she had a big thread over at HF about how she didn't really get the D5K.
  16. Listening to this right now, so far I really like it! Gone are the bluesy leanings he had on "Paper Monsters", in favor of a much more electronic style that ranges from the portisheadie to the skinny puppyish, and this only in the first three tracks. Some great Gahan singing, growls, and yells. Pretty damn cool.
  17. The pics of the W3000 did make me happy, I bet they sound great. I'm much better now that I'm home for the weekend.
  18. Personally I haven't read of any rumours of upcoming products on the horizon. D5000 is FOTM, and reviews make it out to sound kind of like a closed HD650 with better bass and super duper comfort. May be up your alley. boomana hates it though.
  19. Now that I can see the pictures, they are super sweet. Congrats JB!
  20. Sorry for losing my temper, bad day at work. Apologies Todd.
  21. Yeah, fuck you for bashing Nate, you piece of shit.
