So this "season" in only 6 episodes?! Yeesh. I guess they're really going to go out with a whimper than a bang. Next year will be 5 episodes, 4 episodes the next year after that, until there are none.
  2. And opening the first restaurant in between a big Hospital, College, and Strip Clubs. -Ed
  3. I posted up pics here: http://www.head-case.org/forums/food-drink/1563-what-you-eating-right-now-63.html#post369969 -Ed
  4. Pics from my family's trip to the Heart Attack Grill in Chandler, AZ. I blame all of you. Especially Peter. Definitely the greasiest burger I've ever had. I had the Double Bypass burger. The Lard fries were fairly bland, Hot Doug's Duck Fat fries were much better, and even In N Out fries were better. Overall, I think the copious use of lard is not really necessary. Lard doesn't really go well with potatoes or meat. But man O man, the buns soaked with lard were excellent. I think a lard soaked grilled cheese sandwich would be even better. But there's nothing like 1lb of beef in a single hamburger. -Ed
  5. The lard fries were meh. They were very much like In n Out fries in size, and consistency, but less crispy and less flavor. Duck Fat fries >>> Lard Fries. Here's how'd I'd rate fries. Duck Fat Fries > Five Guys Fries > In N Out Fries > Heart Attack Grill Lard Fries. My wife didn't really care for the food, she liked the fun themed environment, my daughter loved it too, especially wearing hospital gowns. My wife did really like the margherita drink, it was really strong, in fact she's still got a buzz going, LOL. I didn't notice any mirrors for upskirt looks. I think all the racey stuff was at the other Heart Attack Grill near Tempe that was closed. It was apparently right between a big hospital, college, and strip clubs. So it makes a lot of sense now. This one is in a suburban area. -Ed
  6. The outfits are a lot more conservative than the pics on Yelp, I guess they changed them. Plus, I was with my wife and daughter. But I did get my blood pressure checked at the machine nearby. LOL. Greasiest burger I've ever had. I probably could've eaten a Triple Bypass, but that would've destroyed me. The experience was definitely worth it more than the food itself. But at least there was no waiting in line. -Ed
  7. Just finished a Double Bypass at Heart Attack Grill. It's already more dificult to breath let alone type this post. Or it could be because it's 108 F outside. I`ll post pics in the What are you eating thread after I get back and wash the grease off of my camera. -Ed
  8. I might have convinced my wife to make a trip to Heart Attack Grill tomorrow.
  9. Two big fit and comfort issues that will never be resolved without modding the LCD-2. 1. Leather Ear pads = sweaty nasty in warmer weather 2. Open foam headband pad will deteriorate/shred over time. Seriously? Could some form of cloth/vinyl/leather material not have been used to cover the headband?
  10. The LCD-2 I heard at CanJam had horrible soundstage and imaging. Huge hole in the middle of the soundstage. Very separated left and right channels, like it was in dire need of crossfeed. Aude'ze and ALO both swear up and down that there was nothing wrong with it, so if that's how the LCD-2 is supposed to sound, no thanks. I'd definitely like to hear a different LCD-2 sometime. But even if it didn't have those sound quality problems, it still doesn't fix the part that it is very uncomfortable to wear.
  11. Peter tipped me off to that one, along with Pizzeria Bianco, but there's no fucking way I'm waiting 3 hours in line for pizza. We're visiting my wife's father who's very ill with heart related problems, so I'm thinking the chances of a family outing to Heart Attack Grill might not be the best idea. That is unless we want to give him a final send off immediately this weekend. Oh, and on a remotely on topic post, I've been looking for a pair of high end open headphones, and I think the HE-6 is going to be it. -Ed
  12. I'm headed for hell in Scottsdale, maybe I should visit this place. Heart Attack Grill - Chandler, AZ -Ed
  13. Had a Mini Meet this past weekend with Iron_Dreamer, Jasper994, LFF, Zippy2001, and I. They wanted to check out the HE-6 as well as catching up with old friends. Gear line up. Eddie Current Equilibrato. LFF enjoying the HE-6 through a Stello DA220 to the Grace m902. Trying the HE-6 through the Lavry DA11 to the Eddie Current Equilibrato Zippy2001 and LFF listening to the HifiMan HM-801 at the same time. (GAME Amp module and line out to Pico Slim) HM-801 ate a Sansa Clip+ The hazards of wearing universal IEM's. Zippy2001 got silicone ear tips stuck deep inside his ears, LFF delicately removed them successfully. Dinner at Five Guys afterwards. I shouldn't have ordered the regular double burger... -Ed

While Fifth Gear has been more informative and varied with a focus on "reviewing" cars, Top Gear is my favorite specifically because they're cocking about. My wive loves Top Gear even.
  15. I find it very relaxing and mesmerizing to watch. Oooo. Shiny. -Ed
  16. I'll have to admit, that pic of the coconut in the middle of the power cable is pretty funny.
  17. Wow, now that's a beautifully polished woody!
  18. Going on a High Res MultiChannel binge... Scary Music [super Audio Hybrid CD] by Erich Kunzel Masters & Commanders [sACD] Erich Kunzel Will likely be picking up an Oppo BDP-83SE as well....
  19. Regarding Low Frequency... Testing the HE-6. I have a collection of wave file bass test tones from 12 - 120 Hz. Wow, I can actually hear / feel pretty clearly down to 13Hz. At 20Hz, it's positively head shaking. -Ed
  20. Did you hike with someone else, or is that taken on your tripod with remote/self timer? -Ed
  21. I was at E3 today, and listening to my HM-801's waiting in the numerous lines. Funny thing, is that I had two people recognize the HM-801 and asked me about it. -Ed
  22. Thanks, my parents are visiting (they have to see their granddaughter). I've been playing with my Dad's D700. I really like the leather covering on the ear cups. At first glance they seem fake because they are stretched so tightly and perfectly, but then you feel and smell them, realize it's real leather. Mmmm. I sure do enjoy non-vegetarian headphones. >
  23. I liked Gino's better. I would've liked to have tried Uno's. I've eaten at the bastardized ones in Ohio.
