Is there an audio store near you? If anything, you should buy the amp and then bring it to the store and try different sources for yourself. Or you can "loan" the Meridian and another high end source from the store and take it home. You'll usually spend about $100 if you decide not to buy the source.

I'm not saying I'm guaranteed to be better than you. I'm just saying that your statement of "I'd wipe the floor with all of you" is pretty out there. And as for DotA, you can't be upset with that. Everyone has to start somewhere. I'm sure people were upset when you first started playing, as they were when I first started playing. There's always going to be new players or bad players. If that really bothers you that much, get yourself 25 wins and go play TDA. Or better yet, join a clan.

Going to stop by B&H since I'm getting off soon and it's one of the only days I have time to go. Hoping I won't fall in love when I ask to try out the 70-200 f2.8 IS. =T Well, I'm primarily going to pick up either a Sto-fen or a Lumiquest, not entirely sure which I want as of now, but probably leaning towards the Sto-fen as it's not as pronounced (awkward looking). Then hitting up Seaport to grab some drinks with friends. Not sure what after though as some of them are going to party and I'm not down with paying $75 for 1 bottle of Grey Goose ($75 a person per 5 person group). Last time I did that it ended up being close to $200 a person. I hate the party scene.

Possibly. Top 50 ladder doesn't say much. Not alot of people enjoy playing the game on Fast setting. =[

Sorry, I played SC:BW from release until about 2004 when I started playing WoW (so roughly 6 years), then to WC3:DotA. Ranked top 50 in Ladder for a solid 3 years. And to say SC is pretty simple and that it's all about sheer numbers is ridiculous. A few Corsairs and Templars will destroy the numbers game. It's all about macro/micro. Knowing how to path and move your units is the difference between good and awesome players. Build order, timing, expanding is all integral to the game. I've played 1 game of DotA in the last month or so. It really has lost it's appeal.
