I received an Incipio Feather case today for my iPhone 4: iPhone 4 feather Hard Shell Case It eliminates the reception issue, protects the back, comes with 2 screen protectors and is cheaper than the bumper. So far I like it.

Did not overcook, though both of us like it done throughout. Very moist and tender and excellent flavor. The salad was good but I grilled the fennel in too large of pieces. It needed to cook more thoroughly to sweeten up more. But for a first try, not bad at all. Debbie loved both.

Grilling some salmon on cedar planks. Also grilled some fennel, radichio and Belgian endive for a salad. A little olive oil, balsamic and fresh lemon juice dressing and we should be good to go.

Got word today that a former co-worker and friend passed away after a long battle with cancer. So in general it's been a sad one. She was in her 40's and I found out that her only child, a son, is getting married in two weeks. Life can really be fucking unfair. Sue and I helped each other maintain sanity while working for a power mad boss. I feel bad because we were smoking buddies during that time and I wonder how much that contributed. But I'd never have 16 years in my present job if she hadn't been there to lean on when things were intolerable. So the world is a bit emptier tonight. She'll be missed.

Congrats everyone. We're home from Tour de Indiana and still have 3 days off. Doing some around the house things to satisfy a post-purchase inspection but nothing very strenuous Mostly a lick of paint etc. Then off to watch fireworks tonight. With much beer and grilled morsels throughout.

Alright you two.... Don't make me come in there.... Just grilled a couple of New York strip steaks and green pepper, potato, onion and zucchini in balsamic and olive oil. Damned tasty.

Just had some button mushrooms fresh off the grill. More to come.

Used to get Utz pretzel nuggets in a big plastic barrel from Costco but they stopped carrying them. I loved those buggers.
