Works for me. We'll have to see how many are interested and the timeframes. Any night works but Friday and Saturdays can be a bitch to get in. The place is very small. Luckily my alcoholism has made me a regular so I might be able to set up some special arrangements. The food menu has some regular items and quite a few changeable items depending on the chef's mood. And the beer menu will have 6 to 10 of Three Floyds' own beers, 6 to 8 guest drafts and probably 20 or so guest bottled beer. And Pabst Blue Ribbon in cans.

Just had an excellent meal at a local Middle Eastern restaurant named Aladdin Pita. To start off they bring Pita and four different accoutrements - Baba Ghannoug, Hummus, Turkish Salad (onion, garlic, tomatoes, cilantro, tomato puree with salt pepper and cumin) and Arabian salad (cucumber, tomatoes, parsley and fresh mint dressed with lemon juice and olive oil). I could have stopped there. The salads were so fresh and flavorful and the hummus was the best I've ever had. We then had a plate of Falafel and tahini sauce. For main course I had Fasulia which is a green bean stew with lamb and basmati rice on the side. It was in a wonderfully spiced tomato sause with two large lamb shanks so tender the meat just pulled away from the bone with a fork. Deb had Chicken Biryani, basmati rice flavored with Indian spices, chicken and garnished with nuts. Both entres were excellent and more than we could finish. I ended with a Turkish coffee, strong but smooth and served in the ibrik it was brewed in. The price was amazingly good even after we added an order of the Hummus and Turkish salad plus Pita to take with us. This place has been there for years but it was the first time we had gone. It won't take me long to go back, that's for sure!

I had not tried Tapatalk before but when I saw the prompt on first view of the site I d/l'd it and have used it a few times. Looks like it will be good for using during work hours for me - quick views and such. But I agree about the missing Search functionality. I hope they add it.

Took my 90 year old mom in for knee replacement surgery. All went well and she is recovering, beginning rehab therapy tomorrow. Glad I'm not in your shoes Al regarding kids/decisions. Wishing you wisdom. Mike

This live gig is sounding quite good. It's a Concert Live recording that was sold right after the show apparently. I didn't even know they were playing again. The CD's (3 and an extras disc) arrived from England today.

Live from O2 Academy, Leeds on 12/16/2009. They will be playing at Coachella this year as well.

I've been there too. That's why I get air conditioning in my convertibles. Most people find it hard to believe it can be too hot for a convertible.
