My boss just gave me his old floor speakers made from a kit from the old company the fabulous speaker brothers. They made speakers in eurene oregon but went out of business a few years ago. The speakers are pretty good, way better than my old insignia bookshelf speakers. They are more colored though which will take some getting used to. It makes me want to upgrade my old integrated receiver but I'll have to wait to do that after I already bought a PS3 and HDTV.

What hubs do you use for movies?

I saw bright eyes play over the weekend but it really sucked. The band was alright but the whole audience was comprised of teenagers and their parents. The teens were in the front and I was in the back with their parents. The last thing I want to feels at a show is old.

I just finished the fist episode of Heroes and liked it just fine. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season. I'm going to try and go on a marathon heroes spree and finish this season before the new one starts up.

I've been thinking about getting a pair of these as well. There are a pair in the for sale forum on head-fi right now. He wants to sell them cash in seattle and I only live an hour away from there. He's asking $270 is that a fair price? I can't find any pricing information out there for these little buckaroos.

No, you have to set you account to automatically send you blu-ray disks from the movies you select if they're available. So lest say I queue the movie 300, it's available on blu-ray and DVD. I just click the add button and then since my account is set to blu0ray then they'll send me that type of disk. If i didn't have my account set up for blu-ray disks then I would just receive the DVD.

Mother of god! Netflix just skipped over all my blu ray movies again! has anybody had this happen to them? They're all available "now" and in the top positions but netflix just goes right past them and on to the first available DVD. Is there a way to stop this from happening. I've tried removing them from my queue and then reselecting them. I've tried turning off the blu ray auto selection and then turning it back on. What the flip is going on here!?!?!?

I really am glad you liked it. It has become one of my favorite movies. You should netflix Inland Empire if you'd like another recommendation. It is another visceral experience and the only other movie I've seen this year that blew me away. If you don't like david lynch you probably won't like this movie however. This is his first movie where he makes a truly abstract expressionist film. It is also filled with his non sequitur humor which rubs a lot of people the wrong way.

I though that fell on deaf ears. I'm glad you watched and liked it. That movie succeeds at everything I noticed that it attempted and it attempted a lot. It's one of the few movies that I"ve ripped to my hard drive that I plan on keeping there and may even buy. The only thing that's stopping me is that the copy I saw was pan and scan and I can't find one that is anamorphic wide screen. Perhaps I'll make it my first blu ray purchase whenever it comes out in that format if ever.

That's what I have almost every night. Tonight I'm having tunafish on rye however.

I liked that episode too. The 6th season was a little too silly and predictable for me but that episode cracked me up. My roommate has every episode of buffy and angel on DVD. I might just check that episode out.

Damn it! I lied about getting a blu ray disk this week. For some reason netfix won't ship them too me. I have planet earth at the top of my queue. It's been there for a week now and it's availability is "now" but they just skip right over it. Well whatever at least I have 2 disks of deadwood coming my way!

I see. I have around 12 blu-ray disks on my queue but none of them had a drop down arrow. It wasn't until I added 2001 that it gave me an option to change it. It's weird though. All the movies I have on blu-ray are out on DVD. I wonder why they don't have a drop down arrow. Oh, you guys.
