Watching 2001 today I noticed a powder blue stuck pixel on my tv for the first time. I've tried every type of method to remove it with no luck. I've tried using a rapid color cycling program, tapping it with a pen cap lightly, and applying light pressure when the tv is off and then turning it on. I'm so OCD that I may just have to burn the tv now and get a new one. Are there any methods that I haven't tried yet that you know of?

I wish something like that was mandatory for posters on head-fi and craigslist. There are times when I'm not sure what they're even selling. If I weren't both lazy and poor, I'd go to your seminar.

I don't see why they wouldn't make one for the wii. If they are able to use the motion controller well then I don't see why it wouldn't be the best version yet.

I just beat portal and had some of the most fun I've had playing a game in a long while. Even though it's only about 3 hours long I would have payed the full 60 bucks just for it. the cake song at the end well...uh...took the cake for me.

I don't know, it would be kind of nice to see those models. fifteen bucks isn't that much to spend on a novelty. I know I have spent that much on far less.

fudge, when I wrote "i'm not hooked on the story of HL2" I meant to write "i'm now hooked on the story of HL2". I love the story. I agree that episode 1 wasn't very good. I started episode 2 last night but am not very far yet. I'm hoping it's good but from what I read it's also very short. The only think I've noticed so far that I like is that the flashlight is no longer connected to the aux power for sprinting and air.

one thing I've forgot to mention to anybody that hasn't played HL2is that it's a terrific headphone game. The audio is compressed but it is used to great effect and it's more immersive when playing it with headphones.

what's a good price point for a decent DAC that will be used with an external amp? I'm thinking about getting one since my chaintech sound card doesn't sound good at all through the line out. Lets say that I'm only looked for it to sound pretty good and not amazing.

I remember reading an interview of the lead programer from valve and he talked about how the PS3 is a huge pain in the ass to program for. He really laid into sony for using technology that's expensive, untested and offers no long term benefits over older technology. It was sad to hear, I read it only a month after I bought a PS3. They're apparently having trouble getting HL orange box to run smoothly on the PS3.
