I haven't finished season one yet. I'm 14 chapters in and am totally addicted. Between this and Halo 3 every muscle in my body with be atrophied by next month. So did anybody catch the season 2 premier yesterday? With out spoiling anything how do you like how the season is starting out?

yeah no lie. I've read, although it's probably false, that you can change the split screen to a vertical split ala halo 2 and it will be in full high def. I haven't found out how to do this though.

Yeah that's about how I feel. I got a copy on sunday and had very low expectations going into it because I didn't like much about halo 2. I played through co-op campaign with a friend over the past couple of days and was very impressed with how well it was put together compared to H2. Most of the levels in campaign are amalgamations of halo 1 levels and it works out well and I had a great fucking time.

Yeah $80. I don't understand what you're questioning. Are you asking why I would pay 20 dollars more for a game that hasn't been oficially released yet? The answer is I'm a halo junkie and wanted to get a lan party in for the weekend.

I'm watching more of the first season of heroes on DVD and have gotten into it a lot. I sometimes don't like to accept what a nerd I am but now there's no denying it.

Sweet, my roommate bought the 3 season of AD a few months ago and I've been re-watching them too. Get them off of that hard drive before it craps out on you again.

A man after my own heart. Now you have to start ripping them to your computer so you'll be getting 10 DVDs a week!

I almost forgot I bought a copy of halo 3 off of craigslist for $80. I haven't had a chance to play it yet but plan on it this evening once some friends get over for some LAN party goodness.

I've been using DVD X as my DVD player for my pc but I've been having problems with frame stuttering while playing DVDs. Can any of you recommend a DVD playing program that's a little more reliable? It doesn't have to be free ware. I'm willing to pay for it if I have to.

Reks, did you ever get into Werner Herzog's films? If you haven't then i highly recommend Aguirre: Wrath of God and this my personal favorite of mine Heart of Glass. Heart of Glass was filmed while the entire cast was under hypnosis. It's truly a unique movie, however I must concede that Wrath of God is a superior film.
