  1. Only Alice (outside of Wonderland) I care for
  2. Went to work in a sunken daze. Felt cold and capable of tears at any second, sypmtoms still active now that I've returned home. Hell in a thousand verses each day taunts, life is meaningless without someone to walk alongside me. But I'm a borderline sociopath, and I can only love she who holds such kindred terrors. Everythigng and everyone else equals nothing.
  3. Masterchef Australia and The Grifters (John Cusack). Highly recommend The Prisoner, not perfect, but satisfying enough in the end for a six-ep marathon. Oh, and it's all on YT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8LXsb4COaEM&list=PLF737398287572434&index=1&feature=plpp_video
  4. I went to college in Salem. Needs less stabbings. Party across the street, mostly adults and vapid teenagers. Sat in a rocking chair next to the food table and wierded out anyone who dare notice me. For four hours, give or take.
  5. Finished the last episode of Inside Men (starring the two non-Luther cop actors), waiting for the second of Blackout (starring Christopher Eccleston), and trying to finish the last half of The Prisoner (remake with Jim Caviezel, Ruth Wilson, and Magneto). The latter seems to be getting better, hoping the ending makes up. But Lawrence Miles said it was good, and he wrote Alien Bodies, so.
  6. Contemplated killing myself at work. Being indifferent to almost everything has its cons, one being you don't consider the routine minutia of surviving worth anything. I need someone cute and psychotic to cuddle me at night.
  7. Sat at a desk and looked up pest control contracts for about six hours. Boring but not too bad, preferred to having to associate with a fellow co-worker/trainee who suffers from "insult everyone because they're not as utterly stupid and ignorant as you" syndrome. Can't even talk to the others without her telling me I'm wrong for no reason than her own idiocy. We get cubicles in a week or two, if I have to face her on a daily basis, I'm just gonna wuss out and inform my supervisor of her behavior. At the moment, I just refuse to acknowledge her presence, making her even more crazy.
  8. Mein vorkplace has free coffee in the form of keurig cups. Never tried them before, but they're pretty alright, considering the convenience.
  9. BBC's Jayne Eyre, I have a slight infatuation with Ruth Wilson. There will be, with most of the main S2 cast returning: http://blogs.indiewi...is_elbas_luther Won't be the same without Alice though. She is a creature as whole as she is broken.
  10. Bought groceries, went $6.25 over budget, TP10 cable broke, came home and cried.

    Diablo 3

Dun got D3 as I have a job now. Started off as demon hunter, not sure what's going on most the time, hope the game gets better and more difficult.
  12. i rocked to and fro in the dark northern corner of my bedroom, while the cow creamer and wax lion talked existentialism in basic verb-object.

    The Wire

Just wanted to note (probably again) that Idris Elba, who plays the iconic Stringer Bell, stars in the BBC series "Luther". Probably the best role I've seen of him since The Wire. Prefer the characterization (though not necessarily the actual sub-plots) to the first series of Sherlock. And had no idea he was English until very recently. [media=] Massive Attack does the opening track, so you know it's good.
  14. "The mind is its own place, and in itself, can make a heaven of hell, a hell of heaven." - Alice, BBC's Luther
