Mehhhhh. Next question so.. HE90s were pretty scary to buy used since they are known to be insanely delicate. A dropped HE90 = a worthless one or so I've heard (Not that anyone should be dropping 3-4 figure headphones either but...)... are O2s as susceptible to drops destroying them completely as their fellow electrostatics are?

Jazz has never really appealed to me personally. Is the appeal explainable? Or does it sound good/interesting to you fans?

Tempted to buy both (Almost all my cash period) and shoot them off against each other if its still available when the BHSE comes out.

Yeah I think I need to get an adapter to him so he can make sure they fit. I will see if Neil is willing to temporarily loan him one. If not I'll just buy my quad from Mikhail and have them shipped to him. I still miss my ES-1

Hrm what are the differences between mark 1 and mark 2 for the O2s? As far as sound. Which should I get? Also what do you use your beta22 for spritzer? Did you build it yourself?

I kinda wish I had some idea of how it sounds versus a ES-1... but the finality of a BHSE (No upgrades) is pretty appealing to me. I guess the only question left in my mind is if the 3D21A w/ adapters would work in this beast; p

asynchronous mode of USB is pretty cutting edge which is why they don't have it yet.. they probably will license it at some point. If you are just going balls out sound quality then I'd go wavelength easy... if you are into the features than yeah benchmark

Nice look. I admit your first beta22 build's look (Just a par metal case I think) turned me off, but this looks quite excellent... similar to the aesthetic of a headamp kgss dx imo.

Well my battered wife syndrome (I have two singlepower products for chrissakes) compels me to offer up an excuse. He's in real Europe and not island Europe like you which means he probably doesn't have access to the internet since I don't think real Europe has internet yet. Maybe when he is back from real Europe he will be able to drop some communication.

Yeah I would love a Marantz CD-7. I looked really hard for awhile to no avail :/ I have like 11-13 I don't even remember how many supposedly genuine double crown chips sitting around (All the numbers check out) with asebastian that are doing nothing but waiting for a dac to be made with them someday! Paid like ~100 each for them :/
