Had a bike handling coaching session today. It was fun, mostly working on cornering faster than I'm comfortable with and shifting more than I see a point in doing, though I get that I was using to high of a gear and being inefficient. I did not die or plow into anyone/anything, so signed up for a second session next week to do work on pedaling stuff. Hoping John will want to ride tomorrow morning, but he's ignoring my texts and calls so far because he's a bum. Congrats to Mike and Greg and their grads and grads-to-be!

Hope your eye heals quickly, Bryan. That sounds nasty. As for me, we're having marathon groups due to the acting out behavior of the patients at work. Was basically in group from 7AM - 8PM today. I'm wiped out, but I gotta say I had some big fun messing with people, all for the powers of good, of course.

Nice pics, Mike. Scott, what are you going to do post teaching? Nate, you just posted my fear. Other than a flat tire, I have no idea how to fix anything that could go wrong. At least I only ride in areas where other riders frequent. Congrats on the car, Dan! I just watched the Panthers smoke the Devils. Fun fun.

Cool, Jim! Chris, I know I'm out of shape, but didn't think I was that out of shape. We did two different programs, the first was a seven-mile steady hill as a warm up. There were two other guys in the group with me. i was so far behind, they couldn't wait for me to finish the course because they needed to start another. It was a six-mile something-or-another used for time trial training. I also didnt' finish before they started up with another one. I didn't do that one. I was toast.

Was supposed to take a bike handling class, but due to impending rain, went inside and took a class on a Computrainer. It kicked my ass. I just signed up for a six-week power training class. If I survive it, it should be good. The place, Doghouse Cycling, is small and people are pretty cool. http://www.doghousecycling.com/
