Sup, Heads? In spite of an outbreak of Martian Death Flu, my radio show is actually on the air this week, in Case you wanted to listen.

It's like the monolith from 2001 made out of Polyfusion modules. Strictly speaking, not everything in there is a synth module. I spy a Doepfer Regelwerk and Schaltwerk in custom black on the left.

I've spent most of this week being crippled by Martian Death Flu. My reward for working in the filthy city of Holyoke last weekend. Today I'm feeling somewhat better, and I'm going to attempt to do my show tonight. Of course, I just heard from the DJ before me, who's can't make it and hasn't found a replacement. Such is the nature of college radio.

I dunno if this got posted in here yet, one step further from vaporware. IDGAF about the analogue audio I/O, but the FW800, USB3, GBit ethernets, and second Thunderbolt port are exactly what the doctor ordered. The lack of eSATA doesn't bother me personally, but it might affect others. I really like the look of the Belkin unit, especially compared to the weaksauce Matrox DS1.

This will depress the hell out of you. In lighter news, H-C is a tease.

It is really sad what has become of the 'Egg. I remember, a dozen or so years ago, pricewatch.com was the place to shop for computer hardware. Then the 'Egg showed up and 'ricewatch became a thing of the past. I haven't had any experiences nearly as bad as the above, but these days I've been increasingly buying my computer hardware and the like from AMZN.
