Aye, this is the second such 99 cent deal that's piqued my interest. I got pissed off last time and gave up. I wanted S.T.A.L.K.E.R. sufficiently that I waded through MS's bullshit to get it. Windows Live uses a client program to download/manage games and is pretty similar to Steam, AFAIK.

Nevermind, I sorted it out. I ended up having to make a sodding hotmail account in order to get it to work. The Microsoft of 2010 is no less retarded than the one I dealt with in the 1990s. I did manage to get a 99 cent copy of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. out of them however.

I need to make a Windows Live account, but the site is claiming that all 3 of my email addresses are already assigned to accounts. When I try the password reset feature, it loops back to the login page. The Windows Live login pages leads to an XBox Live support page help page (are these services the same thing?) The XBox contact page has a 1-800 number, but all of its voice prompts are for XBox related services. I realize this is Microsoft I'm dealing with here, but does anyone know a contact # where I can reach MS and get a Windows Live account set up?
