Itch.io has a huge bundle of games for $10. Proceeds go to help Ukraine.
  2. Big Blue done with .ru No Big Mac for you.
  3. Another long form video, this one by a US vet. Initially I wasn't sure I was sold on him when SkyNet AI that is YouTube's recommendation algorithm suggested this video to me. About halfway through I began to get his perspective and sense of humor.
  4. This is a long form video from a guy with a fairly thick accent. I had to pay pretty close attention to follow along with what he was aying. I'm dyslexic and while the trope of the backwards R is a canard, auditory processing language is all to real. That said, I was able to glean a fair amount of interesting info from this vid. TL;DW: Russia is corrupt, full of hubris and vastly overestimated their own abilities as well as completely UNDERestimated Ukrainian resistance.

  10. Devils plan, Tango Gao, 2022
  11. Belarusian Soldiers And Officers Massively Refuse To Fight Against Ukraine This strikes me as an important development.
  12. A fascinating and (as best as my smooth brain can ascertain) unbiased look at Russia's failures in Ukraine.
  13. Today in "Putin is Clown" Russia calls on EU, NATO to stop arms supplies to Ukraine Putin threatens Ukraine with loss of statehood if Ukraine "continues to behave like this”
  14. Probably won't embed right: https://gfycat.com/ashamedzestyicelandgull
  15. Shitposting for stress relief.
  16. Vladimir Putin Says Russia Has 'No Ill Intentions,' Pleads for No More Sanctions. Also, Kremlin staff didn't expect Putin to invade Ukraine and were shocked by the severity of Western sanctions, report says.
  17. Good thing it wasn't Woob's 1194.
  18. The Polandball has been stepping up its content. Lukashenko is a clown.
  19. I don't know if any of you HCers took off your headphones stopped listening to your speaker rig long enough to notice, but the totally-in-his-right-mind, totally-a-rational-actor, totally-legitimately-elected, totally-not-a-warmongering-despot "President" of Russia invaded one his country's neighbors and may have kicked off the third installment of the much-delayed Word War series (srlsy even George R. R. Martin isn't this slow between volumes.) I've made a couple posts in Slow, but there's more going and at such a pace that a shitpost or two isn't going to cover it. In the MicS Discord we've been discussing it (well, shitposting about it) at great lenght. Even one of our most famously clownish member chimed in with: He's not wrong. Europe's largest nuclear power plant on fire after Russian attack. In ZoomerSpeak, that's a yikes.
  20. As the title says. For those of you living under a rock, Bandcamp has been the single best site for artists to sell their music to discering fans for many years now. The artists get their payment immediately and the fans get their choice of DRM-free downloads formats (which is to say, FLACs). Epic Games is an at-best questionable entity that owns the money printing machine known as Fortnite and the Unreal game engine (which can be used for good or evil, but usually the latter). Epic is partially owned by Tencent, who are an arm of the Chinese government. This is a bit like ...ca 2001 Microsoft buying mp3.com, but worse. It's like Yum! Brands buying Five Guys Burgers and Fries. I do not understand it, but I really don't like the sound of it.
