Passenger missions to Sagittarius A*... something I've hoped for for ages is now real:

The ultimate DIY? A Stax SRM-T2!
What did you do for the first bend ~2mm from the plastic? I often mess those up and end up with the package being the fulcrum when I try to do it that close.

The ultimate DIY? A Stax SRM-T2!
That's what I'd probably do, but those are pretty clean bends so not really much worry about accidental shorts once installed.

Happy Birthday Dusty!
Happy birthday dust to dust.

And now what did you do TODAY?
Every 6 hours? My own cat just got jealous. She wakes me up sometimes because her water bowl is empty and can't wait until I get up.

Happy Birthday Marc!
Have a good one M to the C.

And now what did you do TODAY?
I can certainly approve of taking care of street cats.

Clearly you've never raced against Grahame, who is easily the most ruthless out of all of us. He will ram you off the track on the first turn without hesitation and continue on unapologetic and unaware of the mayhem caused. Meanwhile I'm a nicer breed of asshole, and when I ruin someones lap it was deliberate, calculated, I don't deny it, and it was Brent who I hit.

Get your game on!
I decided to go back and replay Dark Souls 2 to get the rest of the achievements, and did a dual-wield run for it. Not having a shield definitely changes up your playstyle and approach to enemies. I used a pair of maces, then the great club and large club for a while, but at the end of my first run through everything I was rocking a pair of smelter swords, which gloooooow, and make a wonderful red and blue explosion on the L2 attack. I also remembered to equip some appropriate armor before taking the throne on my second run through the game on this character.

Get your game on!
Thanks for the tip... I'll have to keep this one in mind since I love the Max Payne and Alan Wake games, and time travel always makes for interesting story opportunities. The nice thing about Elite: Dangerous is there isn't really a "too late" point to getting into it, at the rate things have gone. Lately the devs have been focusing heavily on quality of life improvements in addition to major features, and the number of third party sites to streamline tracking all kinds of information from the game just keep growing. It's definitely a time sink though (I'm over 1300 hours logged)... playing casually and accomplishing anything can be tough.

This is the Clipper cockpit view. Random screenshot from weeks ago when I was in enemy territory.

Stock Gutamaya paint. It looks silver in certain lighting conditions.

That is the Imperial Clipper, a heavy multi-role ship that requires a non-trivial amount of rank within the Imperial Navy to even purchase, and is basically the most iconic Empire ship in the game. I fly it proudly, especially when shooting Federal dogs for whom even death is too good for. Glory to the Empire, death to the Federation.

I think it managed the choices amazingly well, because they felt more natural in their outcomes and not just like simply picking story branches. It helped get away from just trying to pick what you were "supposed" to and instead subtly tailoring the story around how you roleplayed Max.

I've finished Life is Strange... wow. It's been a long time since a game affected me this much.

I had to double check which thread I was in when I saw that picture. I've been playing through Life is Strange, currently through episode 4 of 5, and it's been a rollercoaster of emotions so far. I am anticipating a lot of ass-pulls in the final episode to resolve all the story threads, but I really do like the unique spin on a telltale-style game. It starts off like a mix of Twin Peaks and Donnie Darko, and just gets stranger from there. The first episode is free and the rest on sale right now, so it's risk-free to try it out.
