  1. Dumb question, what's the difference between the 4CP-601 and 4CP-2511?
  2. At the minimum, you need: Single Skinny Right HV PS Single Skinny Left HV PS 2x Carbon v6
  3. I'd be interested in some if a group buy comes together.
  4. I use two of these: http://www.neutrik.com/en/accessories/circular-adapters/na2mpmf
  5. I would be interested in 1 board. Thanks!
  6. Was wondering the same thing and found this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amblypygi
  7. Thanks! I wish Antek was more consistent with text on their website.... They list the AN-15435 as "AN-15435 - 1500VA 432V Transformer" so I thought it was a 432VAC output and thus why I didn't look at it in more detail... Would a transformer with 40VAC secondaries be too much? I'm currently considering building monoblocks so perhaps I can get by using 2 lower VA spec transformers. I had thought two channels would need 1500VA or more but it seems it doesn't...?
  8. I'm looking at this transformer, an Antek 1500VA with 4 secondaries (2x 32VAC @ 23.4A, 18VAC @ 2A, 12 VAC @ 2A) http://www.antekinc.com/an-15432-1500va-4x32v-transformer/ What I am thinking: 32VAC x 1.41 = 45.12VDC to feed the unregulated supply caps and +/-40 GRLV Connecting the 18VAC and 12VAC in series = 30VAC 30VAC x 1.41 = 42.3VDC to feed the +/-30 GRLV Will this work or am I just being stupid? Should I just get 2 separate transformers instead? Are these appropriate? http://shop.plitron.com/shopexd.asp?id=59 and http://shop.plitron.com/shopexd.asp?id=268
  9. I'm having trouble finding an appropriate 5uF cap (next to the opamp) on the driver board. Any recommendations?
  10. Question about the UberAmp driver board: next to the ground input for the large resistor, one side says 2K and the other side says 5K. Which should I use?
  11. The group buy boards are definitely shorter. I'll just bend and elevate like you suggested. Thanks for all your help!
  12. I haven't looked at KGSSHV boards but if it's anything like the other KG boards, it's used to enable/disable the servo. You turn off the amp and disable the servo (remove the jumper) when you're making trimpot adjustments to set the offset and balance. Once you are done, you turn off the amp and enable the servo (put the jumper in) again.
  13. Are there insulating pads / washers for TO-264 devices out there? I'm not finding any. Additionally, I'm looking at these retantion springs too: https://www.arrow.com/en/products/thfm1/fischer-elektronik
  14. @congo5 Did you have any issues getting the Xicon resistors to fit on the output board? The ones available at Mouser are 49mm and the board is only able to support ~45mm. On a similar note to everyone else, what resistors did you use (or recommend)?
  15. Can the R7, R8, R9, R10 resistors be changed to get a specific output voltage or is it only advisable to change R8 and R9? Trying to work around out of stock (or not available) resistor values at Mouser...
  16. I hadn't considered using the unregulated supply to feed the +/-40V GRLV... it would eliminate one of the needed transformers. Are there any downsides with this approach? Would you mind sharing your unregulated supply design?
  17. Ahh so the +/- 40V, +/-D, FB, and GND terminal block connections serve only to connect the two boards together. I had thought the +/-40V from the golden reference power supply went there... Thanks!
  18. I'm looking at the Uberamp boards and I have a dumb question while trying to figure out the wiring and what connects to what. Can someone help me understand what connects to +/- Reg Drive on the output boards? Thanks!
  19. I got my package today. Thanks! There was an extra Uberamp board in my package. I was supposed to receive 4 sets of large and small boards. I received 4 of the large boards and 5 of the small boards.
  20. Paid, thanks for running the group buy!
