  1. Supercomputers combine high voltage and water cooling. But these are multi-million dollar systems built by people who actually know what they're doing.
  2. I can probably do 25 or so pieces.
  3. I got an SR-007A from PriceJapan about two months ago and got EMS shipping to the USA. It took about a week to arrive once it was shipped and no customs was collected.
  4. A large number of Radio Shack shops have closed but there are a few open now operating under a new company who has purchased Radio Shack's assets and name.
  5. Doesn't the low voltage winding need to be 30VCT (15v 0v 15v)?
  6. Modushop sells heatsinks from their Dissipante cases separately if any of those work for you. http://www.modushop.biz/site/index.php?route=product/category&path=71_149_161
  7. Got my boards today (and additionally some Stax jack boards?). Thanks to everyone involved for this group buy! =)
  8. I've used a hot air station to desolder caps before. Need to be careful not to burn the PCB by holding in one position for too long.
  9. It's 4 caps per single 900V supply of which you need 4 of. So 16 total. The fat power supply needs its own caps.
  10. I was referring to what JoaMat has been doing with his T2. Posts starting here: Still needs 2sk79 and 2sk216 though. And this: http://www.head-case.org/forums/topic/6837-the-ultimate-diy-a-stax-srm-t2/?do=findComment&comment=667947
  11. I just purchased one of these: http://www.superiortitanium.com/mini-VIPER-Titanium-Money-Clip.html
  12. I understood that it's PCBs only. I was asking if these PCBs used old (out of production) or new (current production) sand.
  13. Are these boards with new or old sand?
  14. Looking through the thread I'm seeing: Secondaries: 360V @350mA x2 and 15V-0-15V @500mA
  15. I was thinking of trying out an R-core transformer from this company too. I'm also not sure how to completely spec out a transformer on their spec sheet. http://jamestransformer.com/en/transformer_spec.html
  16. Money tossed your way. Thanks for organizing!
  17. I'd be interested in at least 4 caps at $12 each.
  18. I don't think you have sharing permissions set on the spreadsheet for others to view. I got a prompt to request access.
  19. I'm seeing 18,000 operational lifetime hours for the 40mm diameter 680uf 550V Kemet caps. http://www.mouser.com/ds/2/212/KEM_A4020_ALC10-535355.pdf
  20. Ah yes... What would be an appropriate wattage rating on the 12V diode by the offset? I suppose this is the insulating pad to use for the SIC fets: http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Aavid-Thermalloy/4180G/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMsiS1%252bJOF5Pn3Y9BV2SYj6ta2DYsATGOnI%3d Which insulating washer should we use?
  21. Thanks! Just wanted to note that on the V5 board there are 2 unmarked caps, one in the lower left corner by the LV terminal block connections and another to the right of the balance trimpot and 1K resistor.
  22. I've been putting together a BOM for the Carbon but I'm not finding any 175K resistors that are in stock over at Mouser or Digikey. Does anyone know of other sources? There's 174K but will that work?
