Well, that's on me, @TMoney... I grabbed a dodge durango for room for the suitcases and my familiarity with the user layouts. Would have LOVED to have had my dated porsche with me (6M)...I just went through the suspension and it's really singing. The turbos flash at 3k rpm...old school. Kinda entertaining... AWD makes it tough to screw up too much. HS

That sounds awful, swt61...so sorry. I had a bad food induced event a couple of months ago and I empathize fully! On a lighter note, we did a PCH tour starting outside SF at Half Moon Bay and ending in Santa Barbara before flying out of LAX. Lovely trip and we got lucky with the weather...or is that oxymoronic with CA?!? This was my favorite dish...little neck clams and chorizo...a play on mussels in wine sauce...lovely dish! The chefs at Pebble Beach can burn! HS

Right up there with Stellantis aggressively pulling the V8 from the U.S. market and raising prices...stock down 40% or so last I checked. The turbo V6 (Hurricane) is not going over well in pickup trucks here and that was their bread and butter profitability / cash cow. Also, milking the HEMI vehicles with little R&D over 18 years and subsequently force feeding electric vehicles. I think offering them as an option along side ICE and allowing the consumer to transition would have been the better move here. Funnily, Stellantis is now threatening to bring back the 392 (6.4L) V8 in a couple of U.S. vehicles and Tavares has announced he won't renew his contract that ends I think in Q1 26...not soon enough. The board should boot him... HS

My BIL treated us to a birthday dinner at a new "live fire" restaurant, Creedence. Live fire is all the rage in H-town these days. Fortunately, the service, drink and food were very good. I figure they'll be better in another month or so as they've only been open a month... Bone-in ribeye, BBQ shrimp, stuffed red snapper and coconut cream pie were a few of their dishes... HS

The clone General Lee from Dukes of Hazard fame that was jumped... If one looks at the interior it becomes immediately clear the shell is a Dodge Charger, but not much else. It looks to be a Ford Crown Victoria's bones...including the floor pan that is rusted straight through... HS

Has anyone had any experience with he Fellow Aiden Precision coffee maker? https://fellowproducts.com/products/aiden-precision-coffee-maker I have to admit that I am curious. Love my Chemex but this would be an nice addition if it is a solid machine that makes great coffee. HS
